Breakouts for Oct 3rd: The first pick, BKHM, most recently featured as a Breakout play for August 11th. The stock managed a run to $5.00 resistance before entering a two-month consolidation. This consolidation looks to have completed Friday as the stock breached $4.85 resistance. Volume has been a little light - but this should increase once $5.00 is breached. A move to $5.50 would trigger a double top breakout on the point-n-figure chart which holds a price target of $9.50. The second pick, CHRZ, continued its run of good form. The stock last featured as a Breakout for July 25th. Technicals remained firm with a "buy" in the MACD, a breakout in on-balance-volume, and overbought slow stochastics. $5.00 is the key mark in the point-n-figure chart, a breach of which would see new 4-year highs. The company recently hired banking firm Jeffries Broadview to look at new strategic options for the company. The third pick, HNT, has enjoyed a solid run from $21.60 in late 2004. Friday's closing price was good enough to trigger an ascending triple top breakout on the point-n-figure chart with an ambitious price target of $80.00. The stock was recommended by Goldman Sachs analyst Matthew Borsch on Friday. Technicals have remained bullish since it was recommended to Gold Members here on July 7th.
