Breakouts for July 2nd : The first pick, TRA, is a recent Breakout play for June 14th. Friday saw a minor break of $25.10 resistance on higher volume, supported by a strong, upward trend in the MACD and on-balance-volume. Bullish trend strength [+DI; ADX > 20] has continued to rise in support and should see this past my original (June) price target and up to a test of psychological whole number resistance at $30. The stock gained in sympathy with Monsanto which reported a strong Q3. The point-n-figure chart saw another "X" added to the June 5th breakout, although the chart target of $17.50 has long since been surpassed. The second pick, ESST, may have edged a small breakout from a pennant, hemmed in by $1.66 resistance. One should certainly raise the stop from the June 22nd Subscriber feature if holding from then. Bullish trend strength [+DI; ADX > 20] is on a real tear and is supported by notable advances in the MACD and on-balance-volume. The stock has been news light for the past week and a half, and earnings are not due until August 1st - room for speculation. The point-n-figure chart lies in line with a firm downward trend and has run right past its initial bearish target of $8.00. The third pick, GSOL, enjoyed three days of gains to take the stock past $22.50 resistance. The stock featured as a Subscriber pick for May 22nd. Technicals have been scrappy although it did close Friday with a MACD trigger 'buy' well above the bullish zero line. The point-n-figure chart is perhaps the clearest indicator of what is happening with Friday's triple top breakout but no new price target beyond the $19 currently listed for that chart. I am looking for a measured move from the March-June advance.

For those who prefer to set their own price targets the table opposite represents the frequency for a given % return (taken from maximum highs) assuming a fill at at the stated "Buy" price on the open (i.e. the prior days close). The return per trade from 5% risk is typical of what my subscribers can expect from their picks. The return per trade from 10% risk is what one can expect from my free stock picks. Returns will be higher on fills below my "Buy" price
