Breakouts for Jan 10th: The first pick, AQNT, is a base breakout play. The news followed improved guidance from its competitor DoubleClick. The stock has excellent technicals; the MACD trigger line has signaled a "buy" while above the bullish zero line. On-balance volume is approaching resistance, while an uptick in slow stochastics leaves some room to run to overbought levels. It should still be possible to get fills down to $9.21. The second pick, NOOF, first featured on June 7th but was whipsawed out during the summer consolidation. The stock is good value at Friday's close; GTC buy orders down to $8.75 should be good for adding to a position. Supporting the break in price are new near term highs in the MACD trigger line and slow stochastics, including a resistance break in the MACD trigger line. All this action was led by an Grammy award party. The third pick, TKO, closed at new all time highs. The stock was first featured on Oct 14th. The company received some analyst coverage last week, and later announced plans to provide broadband access to some of Trump properties. Strong technicals led by on-balance-volume at all time highs triggered by a number of volume buying spikes. The MACD trigger line is on the verge of a "buy" signal and slow stochastics are about to rise back inside overbought levels. The stock has no overhead resistance, having closed at new all time highs as part of a 10-month consolidation. The price target is set from point-n-figure price targets.
