Breakouts for Aug 25th: The first pick, AVN, features on the AMEX. It broke resistance on the back of positive drug efficacy results. The huge surge in volume, combined with an important break of resistance on the weekly chart should send this into the $3 range. The second pick, DLP, is too extended to be buying off today's break, but pullbacks to high $23s, low $24s may be worth a few GTC buy orders. The stock has recovered from a recent sell off and is building nicely as per the point-n-figure charts. If volume picks up on a break of $27.00 it could reach as high as $39.00. The third pick, SGIHF, belongs to the high risk penny group. There was no news to account for today's move. If looking to bite, best play is to buy around $0.10 and sell on a close below this price. However, a strong above $0.12 should be watched as this has been significant resistance dating back to July of last year.
