Breakouts for August 15th: The first pick, ITWO, unfortunately featured as a pick for May 2nd, a couple of days before it plummeted down to $14.50. The stock has since managed to base and shape a new breakout, closing inside the gap of the May breakdown. The company filed its 10-Q during afterhours, after earlier reporting a delay in its filing. The stock not only managed to close inside the May gap, but also finished above the 200-day MA. The point-n-figure chart is of little help with a bearish target of $5.50. With support at $14.74 and again at $13.70 it is a relatively low risk play, to the highs of May. The second pick, HEPH, broke from a bullish pennant on strong volume, even after it had posted a wider Q2 loss in early August. patient buyers may find fills on a retracement to $6.25, but the measured move target for the pennant break is up around $8.35. The stock has seen little love since 2003, and there are plenty of overhead stumbling blocks - the first of which is the point-n-figure target of $0.50, then weekly resistance c$7.50. Luckily, a sharply advancing MACD and new breakout in on-balance-volume, both favor the bullish cause. The third pick, is no candidate.
