Breakouts for Apr 27th: The first pick, HHS, featured as a gold member play for January 7th. The stock broke resistance as the company reported a strong quarterly performance. The technical picture is mixed. On-balance-volume at new highs is countered by a large bearish divergence in the MACD trigger line and a slow stochastic which today regained the bullish mid-line. The stock continues to ride a quadruple top breakout dating back to October 2003 and has an upside price projection of $51.50. The second pick, INNO, was a gold member play from January 27th. The stock completed a 5-week base closing above $5.53 resistance. The company has an erratic financial picture and lost money in its most recent quarter. Up volume day has dominated down volume days and until this changes it remains a long play. Decent technical strength supported by a point-n-figure price target of $8.25. A move to $6.00 will trigger a double top breakout on the latter chart. The third pick, STMP, was drawn from my breakout scan. It still looks rich on today's closing price and I would look for fills as close as possible to $18.58 support ($19.15 may be the extent of the pullback but this will depend on the market as a whole). On-balance-volume has firmly re-asserted itself as the MACD trigger line climbed off its bullish zero line and slow stochastics regained the bullish mid-line. Tuesday marked a triple top breakout on the point-n-figure chart with an upside target of $29.50. PR was the driving force for Tuesday's gains.
